Education for your child at St. Michael's Play School
St. Michael’s Play School announces the availability of the Registration Form (Pandra & Ratu Branch) for the academic year 2025-26 from the school office from Thursday, October 3rd, 2024, until Tuesday, October 8th, 2024.
Forms will be available depending upon the limited number of seats, as registration will be done on a first-come-first-serve basis.
Instructions (AY 2025-26)
These instructions pertain to online registration for admission in St. Michael’s Play School for the academic year 2025-26.
There are limited seats available and registrations would be entertained only on a first-come-first-serve basis.
Age Eligibility
- A child born between 01.04.2021 and 31.03.2022 is eligible for admission to PRE-KG (Year 1).
- A child born between 01.04.2020 and 31.03.2021 is eligible for admission to KG (Year 2).
- A child born between 01.04.2019 and 31.03.2020 is eligible for admission to PREP (Year 3).
Registration Form: Availability
The registration forms will be available at the school office from Thursday, October 3rd, 2024, until Tuesday, October 8th, 2024.
Kindly note that the forms will be available depending upon the availability of the limited number of seats, as the registration will be done on a first-cum-first-serve basis only.
An amount of Rs. 1,500/- (Rupees one thousand five hundred only) is to be payable against the registration fee at the time of issuance of the registration form.
Details provided at the time of registration cannot be subsequently changed in the admission form. Hence, kindly fill-in the details correctly and exactly as per the documentary evidence available.
Registration Form: Submission
Parents must come to the school at the time and date of submission to submit the filled-in registration form and copies of all the relevant documents.
Registration forms with incomplete documents will NOT be accepted. DO NOT fold / damage this Registration Form nor make any stray marks on it.
The self-attested copies of the listed documents are to be enclosed at the time of submission of the registration form at the school office:
- PHOTOGRAPHS (3.5 cm x 4.5 cm):
- Three (3) recent child’s coloured passport-size photographs.
- Recent coloured passport-size photographs of parents and the concerned person(s).
- BIRTH CERTIFICATE: Certificate of proof of age in the form of a birth certificate as issued by the authority competent (i.e. Notified Area Council/Municipality/Municipal Corporation/extract about the date of birth from records of Village Panchayat, Military Hospital and service records of Defence personnel) to register births.
- PROOF OF ADDRESS:
- Photocopy of residence proof: Electricity Bill.
- Aadhaar Card: (Child + Parents)
- BLOOD GROUP REPORT: Photocopy of the report stating the child’s blood group.
- COMMUNITY CERTIFICATE (if applicable): For children belonging under SC/ST/OBC category, a certificate stating that the child belongs to the said category (as applicable), issued by the competent authority must be provided at the time of submission of the registration form. (The certificate with respect to either of the parents may be accepted initially for admission if this certificate is not available for the child. However, the certificate in respect of the child has to be submitted within three months from the date of admission).
- Recent POST CARD size family photograph (14 cm x 9 cm). (A family photograph with all the family members, including father, mother and all the siblings).
Teacher Interaction / Family Meet
- Class Pre-KG: After the documents are successfully submitted to the school, the School office will fix a date and a time and the parents along with their child will be required to have an interaction with the School Authorities. The detailed information regarding the interaction will be provided to you at the time of submission of the registration form.
- Classes KG & PREP: After the form submission, the child will be called for a Teacher Interaction & an Assessment, the details (i.e., date and time) of which will be provided to the parent at the time of form submission. After that, the parents and their child will be required to interact with the School Authorities.
This is a compulsory part of the admission process. We would like to meet “THE CHILD AND THE PARENTS OF THE CHILD” during the FAMILY MEET. There is no formal interview for the parents. However, both the school authorities and the parents may use this opportunity to ask questions, clarify doubts and queries, and get to know each other and the child.
Admission
- Post the successful family meet interaction, parents will be intimated the date and time for admission of their child and can make the relevant payment of the fees and obtain an admission number for their child. Parents at the time of admission needs to carry the originals of all the documents for verification purposes.
Admission once taken will not be cancelled / transferred under any circumstances.
Admission secured on the basis of any wrong / forged certificate shall be cancelled by the School forthwith and no appeal against such action shall be entertained.
NO EXTENSION OF DATE WILL BE GRANTED FOR TAKING ADMISSION. IF A PARENT DOES NOT APPLY FOR ADMISSION WITHIN THE GIVEN TIME, HIS/HER CHILD’S REGISTRATION FORM WILL AUTOMATICALLY STAND CANCELLED.
Other information
Mere registration and submission of the registration form at the school office DOES NOT confer a right to admission to any child. Admissions will be offered, depending on available seats and as per St. Michael’s Play School guidelines after examining registration details, and after verification of all required documents have been done at the time of admission.
The School reserves the right to add, alter, amend or cancel any of the rules, procedures prevailing at any time which will be binding on the students, parents/guardian.
The school DOES NOT accept any RECOMMENDATION LETTERS regarding the admission. Therefore do not submit any recommendation letters to the school.
We do not have “ANY AGENCY OR ANY AGENTS” within and outside to work for admission. Kindly do not get trapped by such agents or agencies. The school will not be responsible for your actions.
